Safety and security

We are constantly re-evaluating and updating our security measures in the light of the constantly changing security situation. To that end, we are in close contact with the police and authorities to monitor these measures and adjust our precautions depending on the threat level.

Close checks are carried out at the entrances in order to ensure the greatest possible level of safety for our visitors. We ask all visitors not to bring holdalls and rucksacks to the venue in order to facilitate the bag-checking process upon entry. Bags bigger than A4 size are not permitted. These requirements may be tweaked or tightened by the organiser of the particular event. For larger and prohibited items, there are on-site drop-off points outside the arena that require payment. You can pick them up there again after the event.

A complete list of items that are not permitted within the Hallenstadion can be found in our Stadium rules. These bans have been put in place solely for preventative purposes and are there to protect our visitors, event organisers, artists, sportspeople and employees.
